oh it's nice to post fo you again

I'M BACK! but no outerspace has not left me. as the saying goes[ ;) ], "you can take the girl out of 'space, but you can't take 'space out of the girl." It's been windy, and in some places it has snowed in good old southern Cali. Everything has been turned up side down but that's great, a little variety never hurt anyone. Right now thing have returned to normal but i'm still hoping Cali has at last decided to give us a real winter. The operative word is real of course.
i have not been writing any poetry recently, i've been writing stories, but that doesn't mean that i can neglect my blogg-spot you know. So i have dug up an older poem for your pleasure. Enjoy.

Abandoned Soldier

sadly laying on the floor,
it's Creator hath discarded it.
pour little white, crisp soldier
crumpled weeping in it's place.
it bore so many woes and thoughts,
so many rends and so much jostling,
and now it, the most loyal, is cast aside
for a newer cleaner more innocent one.
that one is a new slate,
who's empty rows march by waiting for
a Creator to lovingly fill it's empty heart.
loyally will it carry
all the wishes
all the sorrows deep in it's heart.

but woe is to that soldier.
how it yearns to be picked up,
problems smoothed,
just to be used.
oh Creator can you blame a creation for your error?
a maze of guilt riddles your soldier,
it blames itself you see?
so pick it up, won't you?
lift it out of it's misery, why don't you?

sadly sadly doth it lay,
a little paper crumpled by a poet's hand.
