Shoot, why not?

Well to be different and to cause some annoyance just for fun... how d'ya like my random text color? Pretty nifty huh? Aaight I admit I'm annoying and so proud! So, I've nothing particular to write about and I was trying to put a neat picture on but... no (what was it?) server was not found, oh joy. So for some more POETRY :).

Growth

from a small source
a tiny thing
just sitting in my hand
not even filling it
there comes great monstrosities
bigger than man

for if carefully put away
nourished every day
out grows new life
green as the greenest sea hand
flexible as a new born babe
and fragile,
fragile as the finest crystal.

but if it survives the first weeks
it grows
stronger, stouter, taller
reaching for the sun
bringing forth nourishment,
health,
and happiness for all.

living long
seeing generations passing by it's feet
wizened now like an old old man
gnarled, twisted
and yet it always cares
sheltering many within it's heart

just look there and learn how to be
for so are we if we just learn from these ancient trees.

Yah, FYI peeps, I wrote this in a bio class (I was bored, don't remember why, hmmm...).
